Liberdade, liberdade! A luta da população negra em Queimado: perspectivas libertárias para o ensino em relações étnico-raciais

Abstract

RESUMO: Esta pesquisa se insere na linha de pesquisa “Práticas Educativas” do Mestrado Profissional em Ensino de Humanidades do Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo e tem como objeto de pesquisa o Sítio Histórico de Queimado. Possui como problema de investigação: quais as contribuições de um material educativo referente ao estudo dos movimentos de luta e resistência da população negra, por meio do conhecimento da Insurreição de Queimado? Tem como objetivo geral desenvolver uma prática pedagógica sobre a Insurreição de Queimado, culminando com uma aula de campo no espaço que serviu de palco para esta revolta. Além disso, tem como objetivos específicos pensar modos de discutir possibilidades de uma educação antirracista a partir do referencial teórico proposto, aplicando a lei nº 10639/2003; sistematizar e discutir as principais referências teóricas sobre a Insurreição de Queimado; e criar um material educativo que contemple a história da Insurreição de Queimado, bem como elementos do Sítio Histórico de Queimado, com informações, atividades e propostas didáticas, à luz da Pedagogia da Libertação. Como referencial teórico, a pesquisa se assenta nos pressupostos de Vygotsky, por meio da aprendizagem mediada; em Paulo Freire, como metodologia de ensino que fundamenta a pesquisa; e no Pensamento Decolonial, como perspectiva de superação da mentalidade colonial europeizada. A metodologia de pesquisa caracteriza-se como qualitativa de caráter de intervenção pedagógica, utilizando-se de práticas colaborativas e foi realizada com alunos e professores da EMEF “Antário Alexandre Theodoro Filho”, da Rede Municipal de Cariacica. A proposta pedagógica se dividiu em: planejamento; desenvolvimento através de módulos teóricos; instrumentalização da aula de campo; validação. A partir do desenvolvimento da proposta pedagógica, alunos e professores construíram coletivamente um material educativo sobre a temática, resultado assim no livro “Negro e Resistência: proposta educativa para a Insurreição de Queimado”

ABSTRACT: This work is in line with the research field “Educational Practices” of the Professional Master‟s Program in Humanities Education of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Espírito Santo (IFES), which study object is the Historical Site of Queimado. The investigation problem comprises: what are the contributions of an educational material with regard to the study of the struggles and resistance of the black community through the knowledge of Queimado Insurrection? The general objective of this work is to develop a pedagogic practice about Queimado, culminating with a field class at the historical site where the insurgence took place. Furthermore, the specific objectives are: to arise new ways of debating anti-racism education from the theoretical perspectives proposed in this study, applying the law 10639/2003; to systematize and to discuss the main theoretical references of the Queimado Insurrection; and to create an educational material that encompasses the history of Queimado Insurrection, as well as elements of the Historical Site of Queimado containing information, activities and didactic ideias, in the light of Paulo Freire‟s Pedagogy of Freedom. As theoretical reference, this study is based on Vygotsky premises, through mediated learning; on Paulo Freire, as education methodology; and on Decolonial Thinking, as resilience perspective of the European colonial thinking. The research methodology is qualitative of the type pedagogical intervention, which leads to the application of collaborative practices and was carried out with the contribution of students and teachers of the elementary school “Antário Alexandre Theodoro Filho” of the municipality of Cariacica education network. The pedagogical proposal is divided into: planning; development through theoretical modules; instrumentalization of the field class; validation. Therefore, from the development of the pedagogical proposal, students and teachers collectively built an educational material about the theme, resulting in the book “Black and Resistance: an educational proposal for the Queimado Insurrection”
