Caminhos da gestão : o nome social como ferramenta para a identidade de gênero dos discentes transexuais na Educação Profissional e Tecnológica do Ifes – campus Colatina a partir do Decreto 8.727/2016

Abstract

RESUMO: Este trabalho é fruto do Mestrado em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (ProfEPT) do Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo (Ifes), Campus Vitória, turma 2017/2. A partir das bases legais que tratam do direito ao uso do nome social pelas pessoas transexuais foram analisados os trâmites da proposta de regulamentação do uso do nome social pelo Conselho Superior do Ifes e seus reflexos tanto nas ações dos gestores quanto na rotina escolar dos discentes transexuais da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT) do Ifes no Campus Colatina. Com a pesquisa visamos problematizar questões relativas às diversidades sexuais junto aos órgãos superiores deliberativos do Ifes e do Campus Colatina, com vistas a garantir o direito a condições de equidade para a permanência e conclusão com êxito dos discentes transexuais/LGBTQI na EPT do Ifes. A análise dos relatos de gestores do campus, de servidores e discentes acerca dos alunos e alunas transexuais que estejam ou tenham passado pela EPT no Campus Colatina foi fundamental para identificar os desafios para a inclusão desses sujeitos, bem como as ações que são ainda necessárias para a promoção de um ambiente acolhedor e inclusivo, com o foco, dentre o universo LGBTQI (Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Travestis, Transexuais, Queer e Intersexuais), direcionado aos estudantes transexuais. Visamos conhecer as histórias daqueles que obtiveram êxito ou não no uso do nome social nos cursos da EPT, resgatando a história de suas trajetórias, no período compreendido entre a publicação do Decreto 8.727/2016 e o primeiro semestre de 2018 no Campus Colatina. Da perspectiva da abordagem do problema a pesquisa é qualitativa; quanto aos procedimentos, um estudo de caso; a produção dos dados se deu a partir de entrevistas com os sujeitos por meio de formulários estruturados e ainda com a pesquisa de documentos institucionais. Como conclusão deste trabalho apresentamos dois produtos finais: a minuta de regulamentação visando aos encaminhamentos para a criação do Núcleo de Estudos de Gênero e Sexualidade (Negex) do Campus Colatina e uma cartilha no formato cordel com o título “O menino que nasceu aos quinze anos”, contendo a trajetória fictícia de um aluno transexual desde a infância até seu ingresso em um curso da EPT, abordando questões relativas a gênero e sexualidade. A história do cordel foi inspirada nos relatos colhidos durante a realização deste trabalho, em depoimentos disponibilizados na internet e também a partir da leitura dos teóricos abordados.

ABSTRACT: This work is part of the Master’s Degree in Vocational and Technological Education (Prof-EPT) at the Federal Institute of Espirito Santo (Ifes), Campus Vitoria, class 2017/2. Based on legal documents related to the right to use a social name by transsexuals, we analyze the stages of a proposal for regulation of the social name at the Higher Council of Ifes, along with its results in the decisions of managers as well as in the school routine, concerning the education for transsexual students in the Vocational and Technological Education (EPT) at Ifes in Campus Colatina. The research aims to make issues concerning sexual diversity problematic in the deliberative higher bodies of Ifes and Campus Colatina, intending to ensure rights to equity in relation to the permanency and sucessful conclusion of studies of the transsexual/LGBTQI students on Ifes EPT. The analysis of interviews with managers, employees and students of that campus, about the transsexual students who are (or were) studying EPT in Campus Colatina was essential to identify the challenges for the inclusion of such people, as well as the necessary actions for the promotion of a welcoming and inclusive environment focused on transsexual students, considering the LGBTQI universe (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transvestite, Transsexual, Queer and Intersexual). The objective was to know the stories of the ones who succeeded (or not) in the use of social names in EPT courses, by checking their life stories in the period between the publication of Ordinance 8.727/2016 and the first semester of 2018 in Campus Colatina. Concerning the approach for the research problem, it is qualitative; concerning the procedures, it is a case study.; the data production came from the interviews with the subjects through structured forms and institutional documents research. As a conclusion of this study, we present two outcomes. The first one is a proposal for regulation, in order to define stages for the creation of a Center for Studies of Gender and Sexuality (Negex) in Campus Colatina. The second one is a handbook (in cordel style) about gender and transsexuality, with the title “The boy who was born when he turned 15”, which tells the story of a transsexual student from the childhood until the beginning of an EPT course, dealing with issues related to gender identity and sexual orientation. The story in cordel style is fictional, but is inspired by real reports obtained during the conduction of this research.
