Controle e gestão de estoque no almoxarifado hospitalar: uma abordagem estratégica com a aplicação da curva ABC

Abstract

O artigo tem como intuito agregar valores e conhecimento em relação ao controle e gestão de estoque voltado para a área hospitalar ou na área da saúde. Uma das ferramentas que esta utiliza é a chamada Curva ABC, um importante instrumento para auxiliar na abordagem estratégica. O presente artigo tem como objetivo geral analisar a eficácia do controle e gestão de estoque no almoxarifado hospitalar, com ênfase na aplicação da curva ABC, no Hospital em Colatina, visando a busca pela eficiência operacional. A pesquisa classifica-se como natureza aplicada, devido a gerar conhecimentos na prática e soluções de problemas específicos. Trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa, cujo instrumento de levantamento dos dados, se constitui de históricos relacionados ao estoque do hospital informado pelo software SOUL MV. Os tratamentos dos dados encontrados foram exportados para a planilha Excel que transformou em figuras e, posteriormente, analisados à luz da teoria da Curva ABC. Mediante os dados encontrados, os produtos da classe A representam maior relevância e impacto na organização, pois são responsáveis por 70% da demanda do valor, por isso deve-se ter maior atenção e administração desses materiais. Os da classe B são os itens intermediários para a instituição, podendo ser substituídos ou adaptados conforme a situação. E, por fim, os da classe C apesar da grande quantidade de itens, possui menos rotatividade, investimento e criticidade no Hospital. E por fim o que representa a classe C, apesar do grande número de itens, são os que têm menos rotatividade, investimento e criticidade no Hospital.

The article aims to add value and knowledge in relation to stock control and management aimed at the hospital or healthcare area. One of the tools it uses is the so-called ABC Curve, an important instrument to assist in the strategic approach. The general objective of this article is to analyze the effectiveness of stock control and management in the hospital warehouse, with emphasis on the application of the ABC curve, at the Hospital in Colatina, aiming to achieve operational efficiency. The research is classified as applied in nature, due to generating knowledge in practice and solutions to specific problems. This is quantitative research, whose data collection instrument consists of histories related to the hospital's stock informed by the SOUL MV software. The treatments of the data found were exported to the Excel spreadsheet that was transformed into figures and subsequently analyzed in light of the ABC Curve theory. Based on the data found, class A products represent greater relevance and impact on the organization, as they are responsible for 70% of the value demand, which is why greater attention and management of these materials must be paid. Those in class B are the intermediate items for the institution and can be replaced or adapted depending on the situation. And, finally, those in class C, despite the large number of items, have less turnover, investment and criticality in the Hospital.
