De aluno a professor: intersecções entre arte e educação

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This memoir is the result of studies carried out in the Professional Master's Degree in Performing Arts at Escola Superior de Artes Célia Helena. It presents a descriptive-analytical narrative of the interferences and permanences of art, theater and education in the personal and professional life of its author - a career teacher, with 33 years of teaching. In the first part, an analysis is made of the previous actions that drove him to become a teacher and the reverberations in his teaching practice, in the projects and actions developed in schools of different networks and levels of education. In the second part, within the context of acting in the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo, Cachoeiro de Itapemirim campus, and motivated by the concerns arising from questioning about the place of Art in a technical school, he describes the process taken in search of answers through studies, research, class observations, and practical applications of the theatrical games. It also describes the path taken in writing this book, in e-book format, as a product of the studies undertaken in the Master's. The whole path of this memoir focuses on Augusto Boal and Viola Spolin's methodologies in the application of theatrical games as Art and pleasure, because they are ludic and not only utilitarian. It also presents the importance of bringing students to the center of the educational action, seen as protagonists and subjects of the actions, thinking about the development of their integrality, as guided by the BNCC (Base Nacional Comum Curricular).

RESUMO: Este memorial é resultado dos estudos realizados no Mestrado Profissional em Artes da Cena na Escola Superior de Artes Célia Helena. De forma pontual, apresenta uma narrativa descritiva-analítica das interferências e das permanências da arte, do teatro e da educação na vida pessoal e profissional de seu autor – um professor de carreira, com 33 anos de magistério. Na primeira parte é feita uma análise das ações pretéritas que o impulsionaram a ser professor e as reverberações em sua prática docente, nos projetos e ações desenvolvidas em escolas de diferentes redes e níveis de ensino. Já na segunda parte, dentro do contexto de atuação no Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo, campus Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, e motivado pelas inquietações advindas do questionamento acerca do lugar da Arte em uma escola técnica, descreve o processo percorrido em busca de respostas por meio de estudos, pesquisas, observações de aulas e de aplicações práticas dos jogos teatrais. Descreve, ainda, o caminho percorrido na escrita deste livro, em formato de e-book, como produto dos estudos empreendidos no mestrado. Todo o percurso deste memorial tem como foco as metodologias de Augusto Boal e Viola Spolin na aplicação dos jogos teatrais como Arte e prazer, porque lúdicos e não utilitários apenas. Apresenta também a importância de trazer os estudantes para o centro da ação educativa, vistos como protagonistas e sujeitos das ações, pensando no desenvolvimento da sua integralidade, conforme orienta a BNCC (Base Nacional Comum Curricular).
