Educação ambiental e sustentabilidade : um estudo sobre a conscientização do uso de agrotóxico numa escola agrícola no município de Brejetuba

Abstract

RESUMO: Nossa sociedade vem registrando paradigmas desde que começou a se industrializar. Em países como o nosso, em que a revolução industrial chegou tardiamente, tendo sido vítimas de uma cultura altamente consumista e de processos de contínua degradação do nosso ecossistema, participamos das discussões sobre o prejuízo ambiental das intensas atividades antrópicas e das consequências sentidas em escala global. Com isso, a pesquisa possui como objetivo geral analisar a contribuição da Educação Ambiental e Sustentabilidade para conscientização do uso de agrotóxico em uma escola agrícola do município de Brejetuba-ES. A abordagem metodológica adotada para elaboração desse estudo foi a qualitativa de cunho descritivo, partindo do referencial teórico, através da pesquisa bibliográfica, e pesquisa de campo, tendo como sujeitos os 30 (trinta) alunos matriculados no 7º (sétimo) ano da Escola de Ensino Fundamental Família Agrícola de Brejetuba “João Vicente Filho”, que em sua maioria são filhos de agricultores, e seus professores das disciplinas de Agricultura, Ciências e Zootecnia. Por fim, os resultados foram discriminados em gráficos e relacionados ao referencial teórico, para respostas às indagações estabelecidas em atendimento aos objetivos. Portanto, com a concretização da pesquisa foi possível concluir que a mobilização para mudanças na relação do homem com a natureza é responsabilidade de toda a sociedade, tanto a partir da conscientização de crianças e adolescentes, quanto pelos cuidados necessários para o uso de agrotóxico sendo possível mudar as concepções e atitudes de suas famílias, que em maioria são agricultores, o que impacta positivamente na diminuição dos prejuízos ecológicos, sociais, econômicos.

ABSTRACT: Our society has been suffering great paradigms since it began to industrialize, in countries like ours, where the industrial revolution came late; we were still victims of a highly consumerist culture and processes of continuous degradation of our ecosystem. Today we are part of the discussions. About the environmental damage of intense anthropic activities and the consequences felt on a global scale. Thus, the research aims to analyze the contribution of environmental education and sustainability to raise awareness of the use of pesticides in an agricultural school of the municipality of Brejetuba-ES. The methodological approach adopted for the elaboration of this study was the qualitative descriptive one, starting from the theoretical reference, through bibliographic research, and field research, having as subjects the 30 students enrolled in the 7th grade of the Brejetuba Agricultural Family Elementary School “João Vicente Filho”, who are mostly children of farmers, and his teachers in the disciplines of Agriculture, Science and Animal Science. Finally, the results were broken down into graphs and related to the theoretical framework for answers to the questions established in order to meet the objectives. Therefore, with the completion of the research it was possible to conclude that the mobilization for changes in the relationship between man and nature is the responsibility of the whole society, from the awareness of children and adolescents, regarding the necessary care for the use of pesticides is possible to change. The conceptions and attitudes of their families, who are mostly farmers, which positively impacts the reduction of ecological damage.
