Gestão de Custos Hospitalares: Abordagem Gerencial do Hospital Norte

Abstract

RESUMO: Este estudo enfatiza a importância da gestão eficaz nas empresas, especialmente em organizações hospitalares brasileiras, onde a gestão de custos desempenha um papel crucial. O estudo visa identificar a metodologia de cálculo de custos em um grande hospital na Região Norte do Espírito Santo. A pesquisa incorpora análise documental, revisão bibliográfica e avaliação dos registros contábeis. Com base nos resultados, o estudo descreve a gestão de custos no hospital. A pesquisa revelou que a empresa estudada não possui um sistema de custeio, no entretanto metodologia utilizada contribui para o hospital atingir seus objetivos, tomar decisões e gerenciar recursos financeiros com eficácia.

ABSTRACT: This study emphasizes the importance of effective management in companies, especially in Brazilian healthcare organizations, where cost management plays a crucial role. The study aims to identify the cost calculation methodology in a large hospital in the North Region of Espírito Santo. The research incorporates documentary analysis, literature review, and evaluation of accounting records. Based on the results, the study describes cost management in the hospital. The research revealed that the studied company does not have a costing system; however, the methodology used contributes to the hospital achieving its objectives, making decisions, and managing financial resources effectively.
