Os desafios da inclusão de pessoas com deficiência (PcD) no mercado de trabalho : um estudo a partir da análise de especialistas

Abstract

RESUMO: Este trabalho tem como objetivo geral investigar os desafios relacionados à inserção de pessoas com deficiência no mercado de trabalho, conforme as perspectivas de profissionais especialistas em diversas áreas que lidam, direta ou indiretamente, com PcD. Fazem parte dos objetivos específicos: descrever os aspectos históricos, legais, sociais e populacionais relacionados à inserção de pessoas com deficiência, conforme a literatura; examinar os desafios relacionados à inserção de pessoas com deficiência, segundo a percepção dos profissionais entrevistados; e analisar a importância e as oportunidades que contribuem com a organização ao inserir pessoas com deficiência no seu quadro de colaboradores. A presente pesquisa teve como amostra profissionais de diversas especialidades que lidam direta ou indiretamente com pessoas com deficiência, selecionados por meio de amostragem não probabilística por conveniência. A pesquisa possui vertente quantitativa-qualitativa. Quanto aos fins, ela possui caráter descritivo ao conceituar e definir a população PcD; e exploratória ao investigar as perspectivas dos profissionais entrevistados diante dessa população. Quanto aos meios, ela se caracteriza em bibliográfica ao fazer revisão da literatura científica publicada, principalmente, nos últimos 5 anos; documental, ao pesquisar a legislação referente às pessoas com deficiência, em especial, ao seu direito ao trabalho; e de campo, ao investir a análise dos profissionais de diversas especialidades. Quanto a análise dos dados, foi utilizado a análise de conteúdo na primeira e terceira etapa do formulário e a análise estatística na segunda etapa. A pesquisa evidenciou que o desenvolvimento e o acesso aos direitos da PcD não se limitam a uma única especialidade profissional, mas de um conjunto de especialidades em diversas áreas, cada qual com seus conhecimentos, habilidades e competências, que unidas, são capazes de conquistar integralmente os objetivos e metas pretendidas com as PcD. Os conhecimentos específicos expressos por cada profissional e a variação dispersa das opiniões relatadas demonstra a necessidade do tema ser discutido nos ambientes educacionais, laborais e sociais, como forma de compartilhar conhecimentos e experiências para que o direito da PcD ao trabalho seja garantido de forma organizada e eficiente.

ABSTRACT: This work has the general objective of investigating the challenges related to the insertion of people with disabilities in the job market, according to the perspectives of specialist professionals in different areas who deal, directly or indirectly, with PwD. The specific objectives are: to describe the historical, legal, social and population aspects related to the inclusion of people with disabilities, according to the literature; examine the challenges related to the inclusion of people with disabilities, according to the perception of the interviewed professionals; and analyze the importance and opportunities that contribute to the organization by including people with disabilities in its workforce. The present research sampled professionals from different specialties who deal directly or indirectly with people with disabilities, selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The research has a quantitative-qualitative aspect. As for the purposes, it has a descriptive character when conceptualizing and defining the PwD population; and exploratory when investigating the perspectives of the professionals interviewed regarding this population. As for the means, it is characterized as bibliographical when reviewing scientific literature published, mainly in the last 5 years; documentary, when researching legislation relating to people with disabilities, in particular, their right to work; and in the field, by investing in the analysis of professionals from different specialties. Regarding data analysis, content analysis was used in the first and third stages of the form and statistical analysis in the second stage. The research showed that the development and access to the rights of PwD is not limited to a single professional specialty, but a set of specialties in different areas, each with their own knowledge, skills and competencies, which together, are capable of fully achieving the objectives and goals intended with PwD. The specific knowledge expressed by each professional and the dispersed variation of reported opinions demonstrate the need for the topic to be discussed in educational, work and social environments, as a way of sharing knowledge and experiences so that PwD's right to work is guaranteed in an organized and efficient.
