Uma análise dos recursos pedagógicos para alunos autistas nas escolas da Grande Vitória

Abstract

RESUMO: Este trabalho teve por objetivo conhecer os recursos educacionais ofertados aos alunos com autismo do Ensino Fundamental II e Médio de algumas escolas da Grande Vitória. Como recursos educacionais, compreende-se a formação dos profissionais de educação especial, os projetos propostos pelas instituições, os instrumentos pedagógicos oferecidos para a realização das atividades educacionais, entre outros. O estudo se constitui em uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de caráter exploratório, fundamentada em pesquisa estruturada direcionada a 18 professores de educação especial. Foi possível observar que os recursos disponíveis nas escolas da Grande Vitória não são suficientes/adequados às demandas e necessidades educacionais dos alunos diagnosticados com o Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA).

ABSTRACT: This work sought to know the educational resources offered to Elementary and High School’s students with autism of a few Grande Vitória’s schools. Educational resources include the training of special education professionals, the projects proposed by the institutions, the pedagogical tools offered to carry out educational activities, et cetera. The study is categorized as bibliographic research, of exploratory character, grounded on a field study directed to 18 special education teachers. It was possible to observe that the resources available in Grande Vitória’s schools are not sufficient/adequate to the demands and educational needs of students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
