A inadimplência no serviço de saneamento básico do município de Colatina-es em decorrência da pandemia Covid-19

Abstract

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo analisar a inadimplência no Serviço Colatinense de Saneamento Básico (SANEAR) decorrente da pandemia Covid-19. Nesta pesquisa foram utilizadas a abordagem quantitativa e a entrevista estruturada em oito perguntas como coleta de dados primários. A entrevista foi realizada com o Coordenador Comercial da autarquia municipal supracitada, que é responsável por prestar serviços de limpeza e saneamento básico na cidade de Colatina localizada no estado do Espírito Santo (ES). Acrescenta-se que o estudo, teve como objetivos específicos investigar a atuação do SANEAR quanto a inadimplência dos usuários em decorrência da pandemia e listar quais alternativas foram disponibilizadas para que a população solvesse o débito. Dentre os resultados obtidos e analisados identificou-se o parcelamento e o agendamento das faturas em atraso dentre as principais medidas tomadas pela autarquia colatinense para ajudar a população a quitar suas faturas vencidas.

The present work aimed to analyze the impacts of default related to the Colatinense Basic Sanitation Service (SANEAR) resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. In this research, a quantitative approach was used, using a structured interview in eight questions as data collection. The interview was carried out with the Commercial Coordinator of the public body, seeking to analyze how the municipal authority acted during the period investigated, seeking alternatives for the population that was experiencing great financial difficulties with public health. SANEAR is the municipality responsible for providing cleaning and basic sanitation services in the city of Colatina – ES, such as street cleaning, distribution of treated water and garbage and sewage collection. Among the results obtained, installments and scheduling of debt invoices were identified as the main measures taken to help the population pay off their overdue invoices and how this benefited the municipality itself and users during this period.
