INVESTIGAÇÃO MATEMÁTICA POR MEIO DO JOGO TORRE DE HANÓI

Abstract

Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa sobre o ensino por investigação envolvendo o jogo de raciocínio lógico Torre de Hanói. Aborda os conteúdos de Função Exponencial e Sequências. Visa analisar os conceitos matemáticos desenvolvidos pelos alunos da 2ª série do Ensino Médio durante uma atividade investigativa. A aplicação em sala de aula foi baseada no roteiro de experimento desenvolvido pela Unicamp (Universidade Federal de Campinas), ocorreu em quatro etapas, i) Construção do jogo Torre de Hanói, ii) A prática do jogo, iii) Investigação da relação matemática e iv) Socialização dos resultados. Ao analisarmos o desenvolvimento dos alunos durante o experimento, foi inferido que os estudantes perpassaram as etapas da investigação matemática definidas por Ponte, Brocardo e Oliveira (2019), pois exploraram a situação problemática, estabeleceram estratégias, investigaram o menor número de movimentos, formularam conjecturas, realizaram testes e avaliaram o raciocínio na etapa de socialização dos resultados.

This is a qualitative research on teaching by inquiry involving the logical reasoning game Tower of Hanoi. It covers the contents of Exponential Function and Sequences. It aims to analyze the mathematical concepts developed by 2nd grade high school students during an investigative activity. The application in the classroom was based on the experiment script developed by Unicamp (Federal University of Campinas), it took place in four stages, i) Construction of the Tower of Hanoi game, ii) The practice of the game, iii) Investigation of the math relation and iv) Socialization of results. When we analyzing the students' development during the experiment, it was inferred that the students went through the stages of mathematical investigation defined by Ponte, Brocardo and Oliveira (2019), as they explored the problematic situation, established strategies, investigated the smallest number of movements, formulated conjectures, performed tests and evaluated the reasoning in the stage of discussion of the results.
