Eficiência da matéria orgânica na cultura do pepino aplicada em duas épocas

Abstract

A cultura do Pepino (Cucumis sativus), está presente na humanidade a mais de 3.000 anos, a sua utilidade vai muito além da alimentação, o pepino também é usado nas indústrias farmacêuticas e de cosméticos. Para o cultivo do pepineiro é indispensável uma avaliação prévia do solo, uma vez que ele é bastante exigente no que diz respeito a adubação, respondendo bem à adubação orgânica. Visando avaliar a influência da época de adubação orgânica na produção, esse trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar em qual fase fisiológica da planta tem melhor assimilação da aplicação da matéria orgânica. O experimento foi realizado no Instituto Federal do Espirito Santo-Campus Itapina, por meio de delineamento em blocos casualizados (DBC) em parcelas subdivididas, sendo os tratamentos: sem matéria orgânica, com matéria orgânica na cova, com matéria orgânica na amontoa e com 50% na cova e 50% na amontoa. Conclui-se que os dados experimentais indicaram que não houve diferença estatística, a 5% de significância, considerando o teste de Tukey

The culture of Cucumber (Cucumis sativus), has been present in humanity for more than 3,000 years, its usefulness goes far beyond food, the cucumber is also used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. For the cultivation of cucumbers, a prior assessment of the soil is essential, since it is quite demanding in terms of fertilization, responding well to organic fertilization. Aiming to evaluate the influence of the time of organic fertilization in the production, this work had as objective to evaluate in which physiological phase of the plant has better assimilation of the application of the organic matter. The experiment was carried out at Instituto Federal do Espirito Santo-Campus Itapina, using a randomized block design (CBD) in subdivided plots, with treatments: without organic matter, with organic matter in the pit, with organic matter in the heap and with 50 % in the pit and 50% in the heap. It is concluded that the experimental data indicated that there was no statistical difference, at 5% of significance, considering Tukey's test.
