AÇÕES DE MITIGAÇÃO DE RISCO IMPLANTADAS PARA O MANEJO DA SIGATOKA-NEGRA NO ESPÍRITO SANTO

Abstract

Tendo em vista que a cultura da bananeira é uma das mais cultivadas no mundo e que o Brasil é um dos grandes produtores mundiais, os aprofundamentos dos conhecimentos são determinantes para a melhoria da produtividade. Nosso país é o quarto maior produtor mundial de banana. No Espírito Santo a bananicultura tem grande importância social e econômica, presente em mais de 90% dos municípios, é a fruteira de maior importância social do estado. Visando estimular a aprendizagem dos produtores e de toda a cadeia produtiva da bananicultura, o levantamento bibliográfico realizado demostra a importância da cultura no estado do Espírito Santo, e que a ocorrência da sigatoka-negra é um dos fatores limitantes para a produtividade da cultura. A alternativa do sistema de mitigação de risco, que foi adotado no país para diminuir os efeitos da sigatoka-negra nas lavouras de banana, prevê medidas para prevenção e combate que devem ser tomadas pelos produtores. Foi realizada revisão bibliográfica e pesquisa usando dados obtidos a partir dos órgãos do governo estadual e federal, como também, de artigos realizados por pesquisadores.

Considering that the banana crop is one of the most cultivated in the world and that Brazil is one of the great world producers, the deepening of knowledge is crucial for the improvement of productivity. Our country is the fourth largest banana producer in the world. In Espírito Santo, banana cultivation has great social and economic importance, present in more than 90% of the municipalities, it is the most socially important fruit tree in the state. In order to stimulate the learning of producers and the entire production chain of banana production in the state, the bibliographic survey carried out demonstrates the importance of culture in the state of Espírito Santo, and that the occurrence of black sigatoka is one of the limiting factors for the productivity of the culture. The alternative risk mitigation system, which was adopted in the country to reduce the effects of black sigatoka on banana plantations, provides for prevention and combat measures that must be taken by producers. A literature review and research was carried out using data obtained from state and federal government agencies, as well articles made by researchers.
