A utilização de tecnologias assistivas para auxiliar o aprendizado escolar em crianças autistas

Abstract

RESUMO: Encontramos com a pesquisa deste estudo, ferramentas tecnológicas indicadas para serem utilizadas no processo ensino/aprendizagem de crianças com TEA (Transtorno Espectro Autista). O Objetivo é analisar aplicativos destinados ao aprendizado e inclusão de crianças com Transtorno Espectro Autista no ambiente escolar. O foco deste trabalho foi observar aplicativos com interfaces que atendam as necessidades do usuário e utilize recursos que explorem a capacidade visual e perceptiva do aluno, utilizando recursos de sons, cores e imagens com animações adequadas para o desenvolvimento do aprendizado de crianças autistas. Na realização da pesquisa, confirmou-se a funcionalidade dos aplicativos indicado para demanda do público-alvo, quando monitorada pelo professor especialista em educação especial preparado para acompanhar o aluno a manusear essas ferramentas e que entenda a funcionalidade do software. Entendemos que o aplicativo oferece um layout lúdico e de fácil entendimento e manuseio, permitindo acessibilidade gratuita, tornando a ferramenta recomendável para utilização no processo de ensino dos alunos com TEA. Realizamos nossa avaliação por meio da observação desses aplicativos, que nos possibilita definir critérios no tocante ao funcionamento e aplicabilidade dos softwares. Conluiu-se neste estudo que o avanço da tecnologia proporcionará futuramente o desenvolvimento de novas ferramentas pedagógicas com tecnologias bem mais avançadas que servirão de apoio ao público autista. Este estudo deverá ser monitorado por profissionais capacitados por acompanhar o desenvolvimento desses alunos no processo de ensino/aprendizagem. Palavras-chave: TEA. Inclusão. Formação Docente

ABSTRACT: We found with the research of this study, technological tools indicated to be used in the teaching/learning process of children with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder). The objective is to analyze applications for the learning and inclusion of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the school environment. The focus of this work was to observe applications with interfaces that meet the user's needs and use resources that explore the visual and perceptual ability of the student, using resources of sounds, colors and images with appropriate animations for the development of autistic children's learning. In carrying out the research, the functionality of the applications indicated for the demand of the target audience was confirmed, when monitored by the specialist teacher in special education prepared to accompany the student to handle these tools and who understand the functionality of the software. We understand that the application offers a playful layout that is easy to understand and handle, allowing free accessibility, making the tool recommended for use in the teaching process of students with ASD. We carry out our evaluation through the observation of these applications, which allows us to define criteria regarding the functioning and applicability of the software. It was concluded in this study that the advancement of technology will provide in the future the development of new pedagogical tools with much more advanced technologies that will support the autistic public.
