A prática pedagógica em educação ambiental de professores das séries iniciais de uma escola do município da Serra-ES : um estudo crítico-reflexivo

Abstract

RESUMO: O caráter de transversalidade da Educação Ambiental na prática educacional favorece uma ação reflexiva e crítica acerca da realidade, possibilitando uma conscientização no âmbito das variadas situações que a temática possibilita, tais como os conceitos de responsabilidade, solidariedade e desenvolvimento sustentável. De uma perspectiva inter ou transdisciplinar a Educação Ambiental busca, sobretudo, o fortalecimento de ações cidadãs, na medida em que lança uma nova luz sobre temas que se articulam ao cotidiano dos próprios alunos, de acordo com suas realidades. A pesquisa possui o propósito de investigar as práticas pedagógicas de professores das séries iniciais do ensino fundamental relacionadas à Educação Ambiental de uma escola do município da Serra, ES. Busca analisar como os educadores do ensino fundamental das séries iniciais de uma escola municipal da Serra (ES) inserem a Educação Ambiental em seu cotidiano, para tanto, almeja compreender o significado dos conceitos da Educação Ambiental e de meio ambiente para os alunos e como eles incorporam, em suas atividades diárias, os temas trabalhados pela escola. Para compreender como ocorrem estas práticas, foram aplicadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com os docentes. Além disso, para estimular a inserção dessas temáticas de forma crítica no ambiente escolar, uma sequência didática envolvendo a problemática em questão foi desenvolvida com uma turma de 4ª série. Percebemos que a Educação Ambiental ainda carece de muitos trabalhos para ser realmente ofertada de maneira crítica e que leve o educando a perceber que faz parte do meio ambiente. Elaboramos um material de apoio com sugestões de práticas pedagógicas em Educação Ambiental para servir como guia de orientação e consulta para os professores desse município. Como resultado da pesquisa foi construído um Guia Didático de Ciências intitulado “Práticas Pedagógicas em Educação Ambiental” tendo o objetivo de incentivar os educadores a trabalharem os temas de Educação Ambiental de forma crítica.

ABSTRACT: The transversality feature of Environmental Education in educational practice enables them to develop a critical - reflective behavior about reality, opening the possibility of creating an awareness about the various situations that surround the theme, such as the concepts of responsibility, solidarity and sustainable development. From the perspective or inter or trans disciplinarity Environmental Education seeks primarily to the empowerment of citizen actions, as it sheds new light on topics that articulate the daily lives of the students, according to their realities. The research aims at investigating the pedagogical practices of teachers in the early grades of elementary school, related environmental education, in a school in the municipality of Serra, ES. It searches to an alyze how educators insert environmental education into their daily lives, therefore, aims to understand the concepts of environmental education and what is the social representation of environment for students and how they incorporate it in their daily a ctivities. To understand how these practices occur, semi - structured interviews were held with teachers. In addition, to encourage the inclusion of these issues critically in the school environment, teaching a didatic sequence involving the problematic in q uestion was developed with a group of 4th grade. In a preliminary analysis, we realize that the Environmental Education still needs a lot of work to be actually provided a critical and leading the student to realize themselves as that part of the environme nt. We intend, in the end, develop a support material with suggestions for pedagogical practices in Environmental Education to serve as guidance and consultation to teachers of that municipality. As a result of the research we built a Guide Didactic of Sci ences entitled "Pedagogical Practices in Environmental Education" with the aim of encouraging educators to work the themes of environmental education critically.
