Ensino do conceito de área na EJA

Abstract

Resumo: A presente pesquisa surge a partir do questionamento de como as metodologias ativas podem ser uma forma de aprendizagem em matemática na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA). O objetivo é identificar e demonstrar formas de tornar o ensino acessível, mesmo em detrimento da própria linguagem e da abstração muitas vezes consideradas difíceis de ensinar na matemática. Para isso, o presente trabalho pauta em uma pesquisa de cunho bibliográfico em portais de periódicos, além de investigações relacionadas às leis e documentos, que possibilitam na recuperação de conhecimentos já sistematizados na área de Geometria Plana, favorecendo que o aluno desenvolva sua capacidade de dedução da fórmula da área de figuras planas através de recortes, com o auxílio da metodologia de aprendizagem baseada em problemas, (ABP). Para isso foi elaborado uma sequência didática, que pode ser aplicada nas turmas da 7ª etapa da Educação de Jovens e Adultos – EJA, no intuito de proporcionar aos alunos, discussões positivas para o aprendizado, considerando como o uso da aprendizagem baseada em problemas, que é uma metodologia ativa, pode contribuir com o aprendizado de áreas de figuras planas na EJA.

Abstract: This research arises from the question of how active Methodologies can be a new way of learning in mathematics, considering the Youth and Adult Education (YAE). The goal is to identify and demonstrate ways to make teaching accessible, even in the detriment of language and abstraction, which is often considered difficult to teach in mathematics. For this, the present study is guided by a bibliographic research in periodical portals, in addition to investigations related to laws, and documents, which allows the recovery of knowledge already systematized in the field of Plane Geometry, favoring the student to develops the deduction of the formula for the area of flat figures through cutouts, with the Problem-Based Learning Methodology (PBL) assistance. For this a didactic sequence, aimed at students of the 7th stage of Youth and Adult Education (YAE) was elaborated and proposed. The purpose provides positive discussions for students learning, considering PBL, which is an active methodology, that contributes of plane figures areas learning at YAE.
